The Camarofongo In Garlic Sauce (US$17.00) is a must-try for its harmonious blend of textures and tastes, perfectly melding succulent shrimp with the aromatic garlicky backdrop. For those preferring earthier notes, the Rice and Beans (US$5.00) beautifully complements any main course and embodies the comforting essence of home-cooked meals.

Customer 'Daniel' beautifully encapsulated this sentiment by describing his experience with the beef and potato stew as reminiscent of his grandmother's kitchen. Yet, others have encountered some communication barriers, particularly for non-Spanish speakers, highlighting the significance of proactive communication for a seamless dining experience.

The restaurant's allure is anchored not only in the robust, vibrant flavors served but in the overall experience of sharing meals with others. As noted by a loyal customer, 'Zoralie is the perfect spot for anyone looking for real, Dominican “soul” food.' The generous portions and delightful flavors ensure you have a meal worth coming back for.

In summary, Zoralie is more than just a restaurant; it’s a heartfelt celebration of Dominican culture and flavors. Zoralie Restaurant in Manhattan, New York offers decent food at reasonable prices, especially considering the location. However, its drawback lies in its lack of accommodation for non-Spanish-speaking customers. The staff's inability to communicate in English can be off-putting for some patrons. Fortunately, during my visit, another customer kindly helped translate, which greatly assisted me. Despite this language barrier hiccup, the overall dining experience was satisfactory, thanks to the helpfulness of fellow diners.

The friendly and welcoming service was delightful! I had a beef and potato stew with rice and pinto beans that was delicious. This was my favorite meal of my vacation. It felt like stopping into my own granny's kitchen to eat.

The food was fantastic, but the service was absolutely unacceptable. I’ve attached a photo of our bill, which is a clear scam. We were charged for items that we didn’t order! Other customers either received a detailed receipt or, as regulars, seemed to be charged appropriately. I strongly advise you to always request an itemized bill to protect yourself from being overcharged. It’s essential to ensure that you are tipping based on what you’ve actually paid for!

Love this spot. The lunch special was so hearty and flavorful. The roast pork and the yellow rice were great. The staff were so kind and friendly too. Definitely a strong neighborhood spot.
